What Is The Misfit Theory?
The Misfit Theory is a dark, isekai-inspired manga series about five strangers who've spent months fighting side by side online — without ever knowing they sit in the same classroom every day. When a mysterious message from someone calling themselves GOD rips them out of their ordinary lives, they wake up in a ruined world overtaken by something called the Corruption, and discover the truth: they were never really strangers at all.
This is a story about the masks people wear to survive — the golden boy nobody's allowed to disappoint, the delinquent everyone's scared of, the “perfect” girl who's never once been given permission to fail, the tomboy who buried the parts of herself no one asked to see, and the quiet one who stopped expecting anyone to notice him at all. Five different lives. Five different masks. One world about to force every single one of them to come off.

Our Story
The Misfit Theory started as a simple question: what if the people who never fit in anywhere were the only ones capable of saving a world that had stopped making room for anyone? We built a manga series around that idea — one designed from the ground up for a generation that grew up online, formed real bonds through screens, and knows exactly what it feels like to be somebody different depending on who's watching.
Every chapter of The Misfit Theory manga is released as a companion pair — a manga chapter and a matching animated video — so the story can be read, watched, or both. New chapters drop weekly, building toward a larger arc that spans the isekai portal-fantasy story, the world of the Corruption, and the five misfits learning what it means to actually belong somewhere for the first time.
